The Sea Turtle Conservancy (STC) is the oldest and most accomplished sea turtle conservation organization in the world, dedicated to protecting sea turtles and their habitats across the globe. Founded in 1959 under the leadership of Dr. Archie Carr, STC engages in crucial research, education, and policy advocacy to combat the threats facing sea turtles, which include habitat destruction, climate change, and illegal trade.
