Mission
The Acres of Ancestry Initiative/Black Agrarian Fund is dedicated to preserving Black custodial landownership and promoting ecological stewardship through community-based cooperative economies. It aims to restore the African American agricultural land base and cultural traditions via storytelling, ecological heritage initiatives, and a community-controlled financial cooperative.
