The Homestead Valley Land Trust (HVLT) is dedicated to managing over 80 acres of open space land in Homestead Valley, CA. Founded in 1974, its mission focuses on land protection, ecological restoration, fire safety, and community engagement. HVLT works with the Marin County Open Space District and local volunteers to maintain a network of trails and public parks while preventing the encroachment of invasive species and reducing wildfire hazards through strategic management.
