The Society for Range Management is an international organization whose members study, conserve, manage, and sustain the varied resources of rangelands—ecosystems that cover nearly half of the Earth's land surface. The society includes land managers, scientists, educators, students, and conservationists, promoting sustainable practices through a professional code of ethics.
