Established in 1978 tahoma bears junior football and cheer is one of 12 clubs operating independently within the nisqually junior football league. tbjfc is resonsible for it's own registration, fundraising, equipment outfitting and internal administration and scheduling all consistent with the njfl rules. our mission: to inspire youth, regardless of race, color or creed to participate in a vigorous and entertaining activity. to bring youth closer together through the means of a common interst in competitive teamwork, fair play and fellowhship. to acquaint cheerleaders with the fundamentals in organized cheering and dance rotuines. to teach players the fundamentals of the game while meploying the element of safety and intelligent supervision. to teach sportsmanship, in defeat as well as victory; honesty of oneself as well as teammates and coaches; and love of the game with the ability to take a few knocks and bumps. to keep the welfare of our youth first, foremost and entirely free of a
