Saola Foundation

Mission

The Saola Foundation is the only charity in the world devoted to saving the Saola from extinction. Established in 2017, the foundation works closely with various stakeholders to mobilize financial and technical resources necessary for the conservation of the Saola, an endangered species native to the Annamite Mountains of Lao PDR and Vietnam. The foundation aims to protect Saolas in the wild and improve the overall quality of forest and wildlife conservation in the region.
