The Arizona Alzheimer’s Consortium (AAC) is a leading model of statewide collaboration in Alzheimer’s disease research. Established in 1998, the Consortium brings together various institutions to leverage their strengths in brain imaging, computer science, genomics, cognitive neurosciences, and neuropathology to understand, detect, and ultimately prevent Alzheimer's disease. Additionally, it focuses on educating residents about the disease and its management.
