Mission
The South River Watershed Alliance (SRWA) focuses on protecting and restoring the South River, located in the Upper Ocmulgee basin in Georgia. With a watershed that drains about 544 square miles across multiple counties, SRWA seeks to improve water quality through advocacy, education, and community engagement. It aims to elevate water as a resource, boost awareness & advocacy, make recreation accessible, and restore the river for the benefit of both nature and the communities surrounding it.
