The mission of the american brain foundation is to accelerate breakthrough research on brain disease and optimize brain health for all. we are passionate about our mission and believe that our vision of life without brain disease can be attained. the foundation enjoys a close research partnership with our primary partner, the american academy of neurology. the academy's science committee is responsible for vetting all of the research grants we make, assuring that fund the best and brightest scientists. our motto is cure one, cure many. driven by the certainty that brain diseases are interconnected, our foundation invests in research on mechanisms shared by multiple brain diseases and conditions, setting the stage for new treatments for diseases that were previously untreatable to emerge. to assure that the discoveries generated from research investments are developed and extended into the future, identifying and funding the best researchers is a high priority.
