Mission
Alpha Omega Alpha (AΩA) is the national medical honor society founded in 1902, dedicated to recognizing and promoting excellence in the field of medicine. Membership is limited to students, residents, faculty, and alumni of medical schools based on deep commitment to integrity, leadership, service, and scholarship. AΩA also supports a variety of fellowships, grants, programs, and awards that enhance medical education and ethical practice.
