Mission

Founded in 1941, United Veterans Services (UVS) is a non-profit charitable organization dedicated to serving United States military veterans. UVS operates 38 units in VA Hospitals and Medical Centers across the United States and Puerto Rico, ensuring the comfort needs of veterans who are not covered by the Federal Government. The organization recruits volunteers and raises funds to meet the needs of hospitalized veterans, emphasizing the importance of community engagement in supporting veteran care.
