Earth and Space Research (ESR) is a Seattle-based nonprofit research institute specializing in oceanographic research. Our research encompasses a wide range of topics including polar oceanography and equatorial studies. We also conduct K-12 outreach activities to introduce kids to oceanography and climate through hands-on learning, fostering education and engagement with scientific inquiry.
