Mission
In 2022, skookum continued to lean into our social mission to create careers of choice for people with disabilities. importantly, skookum created a career advisor function to serve as resource to employees interested in upward mobility within skookum, as well as for those interested in exploring opportunities outside of skookum. as a result, skookum celebrated over 140 internal promotions over the course of the year. skookum added a new business line in 2022. we now provide professional services to the coast guard's surface forces logistics center (sflc). the sflc contract created two dozen professional jobs for people with disabilities, jobs with great potential for upward mobility. skookum continued to invest in the manufacturing facility acquired in 2019, adding new oem customers in the defense industry to the array of commercial customers. veteran employment remained a focus in themanufacturing facility.
