Mission
Waking Women Healing Institute is a survivor and MMIW/P family member led 501c3 nonprofit that was founded in December of 2020 in Gresham, WI. The organization aims to address alarming violence rates due to patriarchal and colonial oppression by providing culturally founded and land-based direct services for MMIWG2S and victims of sexual violence, and further seeks to promote healing justice, social justice, and environmental justice through systems change and community connection.
