The Aveni Foundation supports the timely development of innovative targeted therapies for cancer and other diseases, thereby addressing a significant global health concern as cancer is a leading cause of death worldwide. The foundation is named in honor of Fr. Joseph Aveni, a priest who benefitted from a gene-targeted therapy.
