Founded in 2010, the Model Forest Policy Program works nationwide to empower rural and indigenous communities to reduce their climate risks and adapt to climate change impacts. The program focuses on promoting climate resilience and ecosystem health, developing multi-stakeholder resilience action plans, and amplifying marginalized voices.
