The American Academy of Diplomacy (AAD) is an independent, non-profit association of former senior US ambassadors and high-level government officials dedicated to strengthening American diplomacy. Founded in 1983, the Academy promotes the importance of diplomacy and works towards improving the practice of American foreign policy through various programs, publications, and outreach efforts.
