Mission
The NEC Society is a patient-led, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded to combat necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC), a serious intestinal disease affecting premature infants. With a mission to accelerate research, advocacy, and education, the organization unites patients, families, clinicians, and researchers to improve outcomes for vulnerable infants at risk of NEC.
