IsraAID’s water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) programs in Ukraine have provided over 300,000 individuals with access to potable water. IsraAID’s nimble Emergency Response teams provide immediate relief such as food, shelter, medicine, and clean water. Their efforts include rapid deployment and collaboration with local partners to ensure efficient and effective relief in the wake of disasters, helping communities begin their recovery processes.
Through its Water Management Technician (WaMTech) course, IsraAID has empowered over 130 students in Acholiland, Uganda, with the skills to manage and repair water systems. This initiative not only provides clean water but also creates livelihood opportunities, ensuring both physical and economic support for the local population.
Potable Water Access in Ukraine
