Mission
CASA of Western Maryland trains and empowers diverse community volunteers to advocate for children who have been abused or neglected. When a judge appoints a trained CASA volunteer, they provide informed recommendations and help ensure that children's needs are prioritized in a complex and over-burdened child welfare system.
