Houston Bike Share was established to promote healthy, sustainable transportation by providing bike share services throughout the city of Houston. Though the service will be ceasing operations in June 2024 due to funding constraints, it has played a significant role in enhancing mobility and access to bicycles throughout the community since its inception in 2012.
