The Democracy at Work Institute was created by the U.S. Federation of Worker Cooperatives to support worker cooperative development in economically and socially marginalized communities. It serves as a national organization dedicated to building the worker cooperative field through research, education, and advocacy, ensuring that communities can create sustainable economic models through democratic ownership.
