Mission
The New Jersey Mental Health Institute (NJMHI) is dedicated to improving mental health and substance use services both in New Jersey and internationally. Established in 2000, NJMHI focuses on reducing stigma and discrimination against individuals with mental health and substance use disorders. Through innovative programs, training, and partnerships, NJMHI seeks to enhance service delivery, improve outcomes for individuals in need, and advocate for cultural competence in mental health care.
