The youngstown neighborhood development corporation (yndc) is a multifaceted neighborhood development organization launched in 2009 in partnership with the city of youngstown and the raymond john wean foundation to catalyze strategic neighborhood reinvestment in neighborhoods throughout the city. yndc works to transform neighborhoods into meaningful places where people invest time, money and energy into their homes and neighborhoods; where neighbors have the capacity to manage day-to-day issues; and where neighbors feel confident about the future of their neighborhood.

Mchs is a community school established under the ohio revised code charter 3314, the school is a public institution and students enrolled in and attending the school are required to take proficiency tests and other examinations prescribed by law. in addition, there may be other requirements for students at the school that are prescribed by law. students who have been excused from the compulsory attendance law for the purpose of home education as defined by the administrative code shall no longer by excused for that purpose upon their enrollment in a community school. for more information about this matter contact the school administration or the ohio department of education. the mahoning county high is a trauma-informed, dropout prevention and recovery community school in the state of ohio. the school is sponsored by the office of school sponsorship at the ohio department of education. the school is intended to serve youth who need an opportunity to get on track with their academics. m

The purpose of the corporation is to provide assistance to persons with disabilities, including but not limited to, providing habilitation and vocational services for individuals with disabilities in a variety of settings, including the operation of sheltered workshops, supported employment and similar facilities.

The "fund" is established as a supporting organization to receive, invest and manage a permanent endowment for the benefit of oh wow! the roger & gloria jones children's center for science and technology, an ohio non-profit corporation which is tax exempt under irs code 501 (c) (3). the center operates a science and technology center with hands-on interactive exhibits and educational programs for children. the code of regulation of the fund provides that the purpose of the fund is to provide an endowment for the support of the center. distributions made from the fund to the center are to used to pay for capital improvements, restorations or repairs to assets owned by the center, or to repair restore, or rebuild any portion of the center facilites which have been damaged due to any casulty or loss not covered by insurance. the center made the initial contribution to the fund from its endowment assets. additional donations will be made by individual donors.

Promotion and support of education

To provide a home of welcome hospitality and support services of various types to individuals of low and moderate income with no source of support both within and outside the state of ohio. to provide a roundtable discussion and prayer center where individuals can gather and learn, reflect, and act regarding justice and peace. also, to acquire, receive, purchase, own, lease, operate, manage, or otherwise deal in any and all interests in real and personal property, tangible or intangible, including any such property that may be given, devised, bequeathed, or otherwise conveyed or transferred to the organization. to do all things necessary and incidental to carry out the above mentioned and foregoing purposes.
