The program provides self empowerment workshops for women from vulnerable communities. the workshops are organized throughout the community for the purpose of promoting social justice and community building exercises. the workshops are organized at a community level.

L.o.v.e. supports and empowers young latinas to strive both in school and in life by providing positive role models. the l.o.v.e. mentoring program works in partnership with organizations, universities and public schools, whose mission are to enhance the well being of young girls and hispanic communities in new york. the l.o.v.e. mentoring program recruits female university students to support, guide, and be a role model to young latinas during their high school years.

Our world neighborhood charter schools (owncs) was organized to increase learning opportunities for students through innovative educational programs and to enable parents to be more involved in their children's education. in fiscal year 2021, our world neighborhood charter school operated classes for approximately 1019 students in grades k-8.

The ansob centers primary mission is to help refugees and other newly arrived immigrants to adjust to life in the usa. it provides english language instruction, job placement assistance, bilingual case management.

The connected chef provides relief for families across queens, ny through the lifeline grocery initiative. this program serves vulnerable and underserved families in queens that are food insecure. through this program, the organization packages and distributes nutrient groceries to familiess on a weekly basis.

Founded by legendary singer tony bennett and his wife, susan benedetto, the mission of exploring the arts (eta) is to transform the lives of young people through arts education, working collaboratively with public high schools to help them build quality, in-school arts programs and to increase out-of-school arts opportunities for their students. eta currently serves 38 partner schools in new york city and los angeles.

Abingdon theatre company provides a safe home where playwrights, directors and actors can collaborate within a supportive and nurturing environment. we search for stories about the human experience that reflect our social, political, historical and cultural diversity. we are acutely aware of the theatres power to unite disparate population groups through stories about common human interests, and we strive to shed light on a variety of perspectives.
