The Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights (CHIRLA) was founded in 1986 as a leader in California, advocating for the human and civil rights of immigrants and refugees. CHIRLA unites diverse immigrant families and individuals to act as agents of social change, striving for a society characterized by freedom of movement, complete human rights, and true participatory democracy.
