To carry on scientific research in the public interest for the purpose of promoting more accurate diagnosis, identifying prevention models, and discovering life-changing treatments, and eventually a cure, for post-infectious neuroinflammatory illness such as pandas; pans; sydenham chorea; basal ganglia encephalitis; autoimmune encephalitis; autoimmune mediated ocd, depression, anorexia, anxiety disorders, tics, and tourette's; and post-covid inflammation (collectively, "psychoneuroimmunologic illnesses"); to improve the lives of people impactedby psychoneuroimmunologic illnesses, including by raising awareness of such illnesses and accompanying symptoms; and to collaborate with other entities and individuals involved in the research and treatment of psychoneuroimmunologic illnesses with the goal of making relevant research and best practices widely available to the interested public.
