Mission

Climate emergency is a non-profit, publicly supported corporation organized in delaware on june 18, 2019 to fund nonviolent climate activists who wake up the public and demand urgent action from governments and corporations to address the climate emergency. climate emergency fund fundraises for and makes grants to climate activism in the us and internationally, particularly focused on ending the expansion of fossil fuel infrastructure, protecting ecosystems, banning private jets, securing large-scale climate legislation, and raising awareness about the climate emergency. we also support movement infrastructure, including fiscal sponsorship and strategic consulting. we made 74 grants to 45 organizations in 2022. we also raise awareness of climate activists through pr and media.climate emergency fund supports a variety of domestic activism, particularly focused on raising awareness about the emergency, ending the expansion of fossil fuel infrastructure, and securing climate legislation s
