Mission

The spitfire club is a charitable education organization whose mission is to enhance literacy and social-emotional skills, nurturing each spitfire's love of reading, love of self, and love for spitfires across all communities. the spitfire club operates through extracurricular book clubs that create demand for and build inclusive community around diverse, girl-positive books. the spitfire club offers out-of-school-time literacy and social-emotional education programming to title i schools, affordable housing communities, community centers, and libraries, providing both the opportunity for educational support and exposure to life skills that participants may benefit from throughout their lives.
