The Deep Creek Watershed Foundation was founded in 2016 with the primary goal of raising funds to finance projects and initiatives to further implement the Watershed Management Plan which will preserve and protect the Deep Creek Watershed. The Foundation engages in fundraising activities, sponsors educational programs, and provides funding to support scientific, environmental, and educational initiatives aimed at improving the environmental stability and economic viability of the watershed.
