Based in Ithaca, NY, Civic Ensemble creates theatre by, with, and for our community, engaging audiences in dialogue about pressing questions and concerns. We strive towards the Beloved Community, where all share the wealth of the earth. Founded in 2012, it serves as Ithaca’s Public Theater and emphasizes the importance of community-based theatre and discussions on social justice.
