Mission
Statement of program service according to local police, there are three turf gangs in the city of placentia and at any given time, they have approximately 75-150 members. the lot318's aim is to entice at-risk youth away from gang activity and provide positive, productive, and constructive programs to these communities while improving their educational performances. since lot318's involvement, gang activity has decreased and shifted away from these neighborhoods, and many of lot318's students are now excelling in school as well as individually in addition, the founding geographical locations of lot318 was strategically planned. lot318-cypress street is in the heart of the la jolla street gang community, surrounded by approximately 5,000 homes and apartments in placentia. lot318-gomez center has approximately 125 homes and is located adjacent to the atwood street gang community. these two communities are also known as "desert communities," meaning they have limited access to the larger p
