Goodwill provides employment skills to challenged individuals, serves the community by helping people with barriers to employment achieve economic independence through training, educating, and employment. below is the list of the organization's various programs: - 2018 california megafire- national dislocated worker grant (ndwg) grant - to provide temporary jobs related to clean-up and repair on public and private non-profit lands impacted by the disaster and to provide related workforce development in ventura county. as of december 31, 2022, the organization incurred $120,301 of expenses related to this program. - wia youth program santa barbara county -to provide youth with access to employment, education, training and support services to succeed in the labor market and to match employers with skilled workers they need to compete in the global economy. additionally, the organization has wia adult program with similar purpose with wia youth program but focused on veterans and spouses
