The Texas Association of Property and Evidence Inventory Technicians (TAPEIT) is a not-for-profit organization that focuses on the education and training of law enforcement personnel engaged in property and evidence storage and maintenance. TAPEIT supports law enforcement agencies in Texas by providing updated resources and training on the storage, processing, analyzing, and disposition of criminal evidence.
