Before Splash intervened, some schools only had one water station for thousands of students. Now, these schools have adequate clean water and sanitation facilities, improving the overall health and attendance of students.
In 2019, Splash began a project to provide clean water, child-friendly toilets, and hygiene programs in Ethiopia. This initiative aims to cover 537 schools, including the additional 38 schools that have opened since the project's inception.
Splash reached a milestone by installing clean water filtration systems in every orphanage in China, serving 1,100 orphanages and benefiting 190,000 children and adults.
Serving Over 1 Million Kids
Splash currently provides clean water to more than one million children in eight different countries across Asia and Africa. This milestone was achieved through targeted projects that focus on schools, orphanages, and other child-serving institutions.
Project WISE Initiative
Through the ambitious Project WISE initiative, Splash aims to ensure 100% WASH coverage in schools across Addis Ababa and Bahir Dar, Ethiopia. This project focuses on providing clean water, improved sanitation, hygiene education, and menstrual health resources.
