Mission
The Underwater Society of America (USOA) is a nonprofit organization that governs and promotes underwater sports in the USA, acting as a charter member of the World Underwater Federation (CMAS). USOA organizes numerous local, regional, and national championships in sports such as underwater hockey, underwater rugby, fin swimming, spearfishing, and visual arts. Additionally, as a recognized sport organization, USOA works to enhance the safety and benefit of these aquatic sports for participants.
