Mission

Negative Population Growth (NPG) is a national non-profit organization founded in 1972 that aims to slow, halt, and eventually reverse U.S. population growth through education and advocacy for sustainable population levels. NPG focuses on the negative impacts of overpopulation on the environment and society and promotes policy changes to encourage smaller families and reduced immigration.
