The National Veterans Tribute Network focuses on collecting, preserving, and making accessible the personal accounts of veterans. This allows future generations to better understand the realities of war and service, recognizing the individual sacrifices made for freedom. The Fremont Avenue of Flags specifically honors veterans with actual casket flags displayed annually to commemorate their service and sacrifices.
