The Association of American State Geologists (AASG) represents the directors of state geological surveys in the United States and Puerto Rico. Founded in 1908, AASG functions as an information source for government and society, contributing to topics such as water, oil and gas, mining, and land reclamation. It seeks to face ongoing injustices and is committed to changing biases that lead to discriminatory practices.
