Established in 1968, the Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES) serves as the professional society for students, faculty, researchers, and industry professionals in biomedical engineering. With over 8,000 members and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, BMES holds an annual meeting that attracts thousands of biomedical engineers to share scientific presentations and foster collaboration within the field.
