As the largest housing provider in Boston, the Boston Housing Authority (BHA) is committed to improving the quality of life in the city through the provision of affordable housing. They actively work to create stable, sustainable communities while addressing systemic inequalities in housing, health, education, and employment for Black, Indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC). BHA oversees public housing and Section 8 housing choice voucher programs, housing more than 34,000 people.
