Mission
Founded in 1969, the Zamir Chorale of Boston performs music spanning hundreds of years, four continents, and nearly every musical style. Its repertoire includes Jewish liturgical pieces, classical works, music of the Holocaust, new compositions, as well as Israeli, Yiddish, and Ladino folksongs. Zamir’s concerts are designed to entertain, educate, and inspire audiences of all ages, religions, and races, bringing the joy of Jewish music transcending age, religious, and ethnic background.
