Mission
The Society for Vector Ecology was established in 1968 and comprises professionals from diverse fields related to vector biology and control. The organization aims to address challenges such as nuisance organism suppression and disease vector management by utilizing environmental management, biological control, public education, and appropriate chemical technologies. The Society also publishes research related to vector ecology through its journal and newsletter and organizes annual conferences for knowledge sharing.
