Mission

The fair housing council of suburban philadelphia dba housing equality center of pennsylvania's (hecp) work seeks to address the issue of housing discrimination, both the direct and specific effect of discrimination on individual families and the broader impact of historical and present day housing discrimination on our region's communities. hecp offers a variety of programs and services to ensure equal access to housing for members of the fair housing act's protected classes. hecp has been providing fair housing education and enforcement services to greater philadelphia residents for 64 years and is designated by hud as a qualified enforcement organization.
