Mission

The Punta Gorda Housing Authority (PGHA) operates the Public Housing program and the Housing Choice Voucher program (also known as Section 8) for low-income residents within its jurisdiction of Charlotte County and the City of North Port in Sarasota County. PGHA provides housing in 184 Public Housing units and manages 500 Housing Choice Vouchers for area landlords, along with offering resident support services and programs.
