Mission
The Junior Sailing Association of Long Island Sound (JSA of LIS) supports its member junior sailing programs through leadership, training, communication and event scheduling. Founded in 1924, it serves youth by coordinating sailing activities and competitions at various member programs across Connecticut and New York. The JSA promotes an understanding and appreciation for sailing while fostering ethical behavior, teamwork, and respect for the marine environment.
