To encourage & foster national & international amateur figure skating competition in compulsory figures, free skating, pair skating, dancing, precision & any other type of figure skating; to encourage the instruction, practice & advancement of members in national & international figure skating competition of all types & kind; to carry out the general policies of the united states figure skating association.
