To nourish and enrich the lives of individuals in yolo county with an emphasis on those age 60 and older, by providing nutritious meals to active and homebound people; thereby, promoting their health, well-being and independence. for the past year, over 1,000 seniors were served 75,000 meals.

Yolo county court appointed special advocates (casa), a non-profit corporation, is organized under the laws of the state of california for the purpose of advocating on behalf of children in foster care. casa is supported primarily through contributions and grants.

Friends of the mission is a non-profit organization that provides affordable housing for individuals, families and youth who are in need, but especially the homeless population in yolo county. affordable housing may include emergency, transitional, supportive and permanent housing projects and programs.

To educate the public especially our children about the value of a farm to table community food system that also teaches us to value the environment.

The mission of yolo food bank is to make yolo county a thriving community where everyone has the resources they need to experience health, prosperity, and a high quality of life. yolo food bank durably increases food and nutrition security and helps create an equitable and sustainable local food system by: -connecting individuals and families to healthy, high-quality food and resources;-collaborating with community partners to deepen outreach and address food needs; & -convening key players in the community to assess progress and plan collective actions.
