The organizations mission is to produce theatrical experiences that positively impact the lgbt and general community. this includes plays and musicals that compel audiences and artists to expand their views about the relationships, values,and issues of the lgbt community.

Remaining true to its mission to delight, inspire and educate the community, south florida symphony orchestra (sfso) performed more than 20 in person concerts and events for patrons throughout the south florida region, including monroe, miami-dade and broward counties, serving approximately 10,000 members of the community. the masterworks concert series featured world-renowned soloists, including askar salimdjanov, violin; tamila salimdjanova, piano, and others. among the artistic highlights of the season was tchaikovsky: symphony no. 6 in b minor, op. 74 "pathtique,- and the world premiere of gottsch's princess yurievskaya. in addition, the transformative music education program, symphony in the schools, exposed more than 5,000 culturally underserved students to the magic of live classical music.

The poverello center, inc. provides nutritious food, services and basic living essentials with the highest degree of understanding, respect and love for individuals living with critical and chronic illnesses including hiv, in south florida.
