Westport education foundations exempt purpose is charitable andeducational. specifically, wef works to advance education through itsgrant-making program in support of projects conducted in westport schools.

The organization's mission is to educate and connect the residents of the area to their heritage through public programs, exhibits, publications and research and to collect, preserve and document the material culture of westport, massachusetts. the organization owns and is responsible for the historic preservation of the bell school house and handy house located in westport.

To preserve and protect westport's natural resources for people and nature.

The westport fair was established in 1955. the purpose of the fair was to promote agriculture in the town, and to show projects that the vocational students had completed. as time went on, it became the social event of the summer with many people looking forward to its arrival each year. there is live entertainment, a carnival, craft tent, great food, tractor pulls, and much, much more.

To develop and maintain a sport facility for youth to include baseball, softball, and soccer fields.

Provide scholarships grants and loans t for the benefit of college students and other not-for-profit organizations for college students to promote learning civic and leadership skills and academic and non-academic experience for college students in accordance with section 502 c 3 of the irs code 1986 as amended.

To provide educational enrichment to the children of the westport elementary school system

Provide food security to those in need and who reside in the town of westport, bristol county, ma

Community residence housing and support to 13 mentally challenged and physically handicapped men and women to help them acquire skills to participate in their communities.
